State Road 32 Roundabouts (at SR38 and River Road)

PROJECT: Roundabouts at State Road 32/38 split and SR32/River Road

TIMELINE: Roundabout construction of SR32/38  was completed in 2022, and the roundabout of SR32/River Road will be substantially completed by the end of summer 2023.

PROJECT GOALS: Increased safety and mobility of the corridor.

OWNER: This is a joint project between the Indiana Department of Transportation and the City of Noblesville.

ENGINEER:  CMT

CONTRACTOR: Calumet Civil Contractors

SCOPE: Roundabouts at the intersections of State Road 32/State Road 38 split and SR32/River Road will replace traffic signals. A median will be placed between the two roundabouts, which will only allow for right in/right out movement at the entrances between the intersections. 

MILEAGE: 0.2 miles

ESTIMATED COST: $6.5 million

• This is a matching partnership between INDOT and the City of Noblesville.
