PROJECT GOALS:  Upgrade Utilities Sludge Processes at the Wastewater Treatment Plant

CONTRACTOR: Theineman

SCOPE: Replace grit washers and grit pumps in Headworks building; remove gravity belt thickener and place a rotary drum thickener; remove belt press and place two screw presses; remove conveyer system to sludge barn and replace with sludge pumps and new pipe system; HVAC upgrades to the Sludge building as well as NFPA820 standard upgrades; replace gate in wet well in Headworks building; replace deteriorated pipes and valves in Headworks building; add ladder with harness system from bottom floor of Headworks to ground floor.

ESTIMATED COST: $10 million
