July 8, 2014.....Only a few days remain until the annual Street Dance—downtown Noblesville’s biggest event of the year! The 23rd annual Street Dance is sponsored by Riverview Health and the City of Noblesville and will be held from 5pm – 11pm on Saturday, July 12 on the downtown courthouse square. Admission is free.

            One of the most popular features of the Street Dance is the Kids Zone which will take place from 5pm – 8pm. Free activities in the Kids Zone will include: carnival games; video game truck; rock climbing wall; Touch a Truck; airbrush tattoos; balloon artists; family-friendly vendors; and an ice cream eating contest at 7pm. New this year will be a zip line at the corner of 8th and Logan. The zipline will cost $7 per person.

            The Kids Zone will also feature the following stage entertainment:

  • 5pm – 6pm: Happily Ever After Productions – Cinderella, Belle, and Tiana will perform kids’ favorite songs and then be available afterwards for photos.
  • 6pm – 7pm: Pink Slipper Dance Studio will perform hip hop, jazz, and ballet dance routines.
  • 7pm – 7:30pm: Marc Lehmann will perform a magic show. Marc will also perform strolling magic in the Kids Zone from 6:30pm – 7pm.
  • 7:30pm – 8pm: Ballerinas Academy of Dance will perform tap, ballet, and contemporary dance routines.

            Don’t forget the free showing of the Disney movie Frozen, courtesy of The Wafford Theater! Frozen will be shown behind the Judicial Center beginning at dusk (sometime between 9pm – 9:30pm, depending on how quickly it gets dark).

            On the main stage, DJ Gene Ott will kick things off at 5pm and The Bishops will take the stage at 7:30pm.
