Mayor John Ditslear announced today that the grand marshal of this year’s Christmas parade will be Jim Wafford. Wafford is the owner of three Noblesville businesses: Logan Street Signs & Banners, Noblesville Trophies, and The Wafford Theater. Through the years, he has been a supporter of many nonprofit organizations in Noblesville and is a member of the Sunrisers Kiwanis, the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce, and the Noblesville Fireworks Festival Committee. He has also created a number of websites for the community including HamiltonCountyTV.com which shows local sports and events as well as classic movies and TV shows.

“Jim always has a genuine desire to help others in the community,” said Mayor John Ditslear. “So many times, if a need arises in Noblesville, he is one of the first to step forward to help,” he added.

Mark your calendar now—the Christmas parade will be held on Sunday, November 30th beginning at 2pm. This year’s theme will be “The Joys of the Season.” To request a parade entry form, call Amy at (317) 770-2003 or email [email protected].

More announcements will be made in the future regarding additional plans for holiday events in Noblesville.
