NPD New Officers

Noblesville Police welcomed its 10 newest officers to the department on February 7. After being hired, officers have a probationary year and complete the 15-week Indiana Law Enforcement Academy before spending 16 weeks in field training while assigned to NPD officers.

“The Noblesville Police Department is comprised of dedicated, professional police officers that take great care in serving and protecting our community,” said Police Chief Kevin Jowitt. “This is fantastic group of officers and we wish them good look in their continued training, and with their future careers in law enforcement.”

The officers sworn into the Noblesville Police Department include:

(All probationary officers have completed the police academy. Names designated with a * have completed the field training program as well.)

*Tiffany Bledsoe – A Noblesville native, Bledsoe attended Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis where she earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice. Prior to joining the police department, she had been employed with the Hamilton County Public Safety Communications Center as a dispatcher.

 

*Spencer Flowers – Born in Indianapolis, Flowers attended Indiana University in Bloomington where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies. Prior to accepting a job with NPD, Officer Flowers had been employed as a property tax consultant.

 

*Nansong Liu – Born in Beijing, China, Liu attended Indiana University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health degree in Safety Science. Liu also is a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as a combat medic and attained the rank Specialist. Prior to accepting a job with NPD, he worked as a loss prevention officer.

 

*Dylan Yeager – Born in Columbus, Yeager attended Indiana University in Columbus and Bloomington where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology. Prior to accepting a job with NPD, Yeager had been employed with the U.S. Secret Service as a uniformed police officer.

 

*Garret Anderson – Born in Boulder, Colo., Anderson attended Laney Junior College in Oakland, CA where he earned an Associates in Arts degree in Social Sciences. He was a scholarship athlete playing football at Laney Junior College and later while attending the University of Connecticut.

 

Chadwick Nickson – Born in Dayton, Nickson attended the University of Cincinnati where he earned both a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree in Criminal Justice. Nickson  also is a member of the U.S. Air Force Reserve, where he serves as an Intelligence Officer and holds the rank of Captain..

 

Levi Mudd – Born in Carbondale, Ill., Mudd attended John A. Logan College, where he earned an Associate in Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. Prior to becoming an officer, Mudd worked as a veterinary technician.

 

Hayley M. Lutz – A Noblesville native, Lutz attended Ivy Tech Community College in Noblesville, where she earned an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Prior to joining NPD, she was a full-time student and worked part-time.

 

Wilkes Brisson-Monteith – Born in Encinitas, Calif., Brisson-Monteith attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. He also was employed as a lawn care specialist.

 

James Hunt – Born in Greenville, Ohio, Hunt attended Purdue University where he majored in Agriculture Systems Management. He is a 2015 graduate of the 206th session of the ILEA. Prior to joining Noblesville, Hunt had been employed as a police officer with the Ball State Police Department.
