Mayor Chris Jensen announced today that Noblesville City Hall and other city buildings will remain open with some employees working remotely to reduce the risk of COVID-19 in the community. As of today, there are no known cases of COVID-19 in Noblesville.

Starting Tuesday, March 17, employees who can feasibly work from home will do so. Mayor Jensen has consistently relied on public health officials’ guidance and requirements to make decisions and protocol adjustments as the situation involving COVID-19 has evolved and will continue to do so.

“We have the health and safety of not only our employees but our community as a whole in mind as we move forward with adjusted work protocols at City Hall,” said Jensen. “By practicing social distancing in Noblesville we hope to flatten the curve of the virus progression and reduce the burden on our community.”

Public meetings like Common Council, Board of Works, and Board of Zoning Appeals will continue as scheduled. The city will be using enhanced technology options where available, in association with social distancing and other precautionary measures recommended by public health officials.
