When Should I Not Call 9-1-1?

9-1-1 should not be used for non-emergency situations such as:

*Requesting a telephone number
*When the power is out
*When you lock your keys in your car
*When traffic is moving slowly
*A barking dog
*When no threat to life or safety exists
*For road and/or weather conditions
